Culver City leaders, community guests and members of the design industry gathered for an elegant wine tasting that successfully raised funds for the Culver City Education Foundation on October 11, 2014. The annual Sip for Our Schools charitable event was held at The Rachlin Partners architectural offices in the Hayden tract, where the outdoor patio was transformed into a softly lit jazz-infused setting. Distinguished guests included Culver City Mayor Meghan Sahli-Wells, Culver City Unified School District Assistant Superintendent Dr. Kati Krumpe, Culver City Education Foundation Executive Director Leslie Adler, various School board members and various city council members. Wines, craft beers and appetizers were provided by Public School 310, Gourmet Fetishes, Mama Gold’s Kitchen and Desserts by Sarie. Those in attendance were entertained by the Culver City High School AVPA Jazz Ensemble and received a private preview of Michael Rachlin’s architecture studio, where approximately 80 percent of projects involve public funding.
