Thousands of people crowded the streets along Montana Avenue for the annual holiday walk on Friday. Carolers lined the streets while merchants gave out free popcorn, cookies and chocolate. The team at John Kelly Chocolates said they expected to serve small samples to at least 1,000 people. Engel & Volkers real estate opened their doors with live carolers, hot cider and Santa Clause. Even Santa Monica police chief Jacqueline Seabrooks got into the fun by posing for a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
