Fans follow the action at the Northern Trust Open Feb 22.
Fans at the Northern Trust Open dealt with scattered rain showers on Sunday, the last day of the four-day PGA tournament at the historic Riviera Country Club. But for those who stayed for the three-way playoff between James Hahn, Paul Casey and Dustin Johnson, they were in for quite a treat. On the final hole, Hahn sunk a 25-foot birdie hole to win the tournament.
The neighborhood around the country club absorbed heavy traffic throughout the weekend with local schools being used as parking lots. Some local young people took advantage of the crowds by selling snacks and soft drinks outside the gates. Within the tournament, fans brushed off the rain clouds and enjoyed the day. Stars were in attendance as well including Wayne Gretzky who could be seen spying over heads at the 18th green.
