Anthony Marguleas, founder of Amalfi Estates in Pacific Palisades is pleased to announce the addition of real estate agent Dani Behr to his firm. Behr, who has been a client of Anthony’s, for the past fourteen years, brings a wealth of diverse industry experience to her new position as a luxury property specialist.
Born and raised in London, Behr has real estate in her blood. Her father is a partner in the prestigious London real estate firm, Behr & Butchoff, and she literally grew up in the business. She began working for her father, while also working as an actress — in her teens — and she purchased her first London property at age 16.
Behr is a rare hybrid — she has combined her love of real estate with her love of performing, for over twenty years. Behr has purchased, designed, and sold numerous properties in London and in California. She was introduced to Marguleas fourteen years ago, when she moved to California in 2001, and she hired him as her agent immediately.
Behr states, “Anthony is the most thorough, detailed, and professional Realtor that I have ever worked with. I admire his approach, his process, and his work ethic. He doesn’t work just to make a quick commission — he provides personalized service and he truly wants each client to be happy.”
Marguleas notes, “I have worked with Dani, for over fourteen years, and I knew she would be a perfect addition to Amalfi Estates. She has been a buyer and a seller, of a wide range of properties in Los Angeles, and she brings a depth of experience to the industry. It is flattering to have a former client, who has a discerning eye and a true passion for the business, join our team.”
Behr, who resides in Bel Air with her two children, is happy to be working with Marguleas. She is extremely pleased to be part of Amalfi Estates and engaged in helping her clients find their dream homes. She states, “It is a great feeling to help other people with the biggest purchase of their lives. Having been through the experience, so many times, I bring a unique perspective to the process. I also know that real estate is about buying well — if you buy well, you will sell well.”
In addition to her real estate experience, Behr’s entertainment resume is diverse and eclectic. In 2014, she was featured on a segment, of Bravo’s show “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” and she was also a guest host on soccer for the Fox Sports television network and on foxsoccer.com. She currently is working on a television show, that is in development, about residential real estate in Los Angeles.
Behr has hosted over thirty television shows, both in the UK and in the United States, throughout her career. From “The Word” in the UK to “Extra” in the United States, she has endeared herself to viewers. She has also acted in London’s West End for a run of “Moby Dick,” and appeared in “The Vagina Monologues” both in London (with Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, and Melanie Griffiths) and in New York (with Oprah Winfrey, Jane Fonda, and Glenn Close). Additionally, Behr has been featured in a variety of British sit-coms and movies, and has provided voice-over work for a multitude of clients, including the BBC, Virgin Atlantic, and Calvin Klein, as well as for an array of documentaries and video games.
When she’s not working, Behr enjoys spending time with her children, as well as taking classes in dance and Krav Maga.
