Baldur’s Gate III launches on August 31st for PS5, PC, and Mac

Latest Larian Baldur’s Gate III The trailer gave players their first glimpse at one of the enemies yet to be seen in the next-generation RPG, General Keitherick Thurm, a seemingly indomitable necromancer who leads an army of the dead towards the eponymous city of Baldur’s Gate – voiced by none other than Acclaimed character actor JK Simmons.

“Ketheric is a man with complex ambitions and motivations, so while researching his voice, we knew we needed to work with a well-known character actor who could deliver the exact kind of performance we were looking for — so we decided on JK Simmons (injuryAnd Spider Man). While we were expecting it, we were still amazed at how much his performance deepens the character. Last Baldur’s Gate III The trailer also includes several gameplay-related offerings:

• Split screen cooperative play – Play with up to two players on a single PlayStation 5 using split-screen co-op, or play online with up to four players!
• controller support – Baldur’s Gate III Mouse and keyboard-only gameplay was supported during early access on Steam, but the new trailer provides a first look at what to expect with full console support at launch.

Finally, the PlayStation Blog post went into detail about offers from Baldur’s Gate IIIDeluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition, both available for pre-order for PlayStation 5 via PlayStation Store.

All Early Access players on PC (including anyone purchasing the game between now and release) have been automatically upgraded to the Deluxe Edition.
