After more than a week of silence in exile in Belarus, militant leader Wagner said his “march for justice is aimed at fighting traitors and mobilizing our community”.
Yevgeny Prigojine promises that “in the future you will see our victories at the forefront” despite the ban on fighting in Ukraine for Wagner’s soldiers.
Prigozhin continues to maintain that his march on Moscow succeeded in uniting the Russian people.

Sergei Shoigu, Russian Defense Minister
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, one of Prigozhin’s targets, responded that the attempted “putsch” had failed because of Russian soldiers’ “loyalty to their oath and military duty”.
In a public announcement last Monday, Shoigu said it “did not affect the operations of the troop group” in Ukraine.

At the end of June, Prigozhin surprised the world by launching an uprising to seize the command centers of the Russian military forces.
However, the businessman abandoned his plan within 24 hours, while his forces were 200 km from Moscow. He later went into exile in Belarus after a deal with President Alexander Lukashenko.
