Like the mayor of Paris, TVA Nouvelles contributor Thomas Schnell in France jumped into the Seine on Wednesday to swim there, while the water quality is considered good enough to host competitive events.
At the end of his speech at the Salute Bonger, Thomas Schnell jumped with two feet into the river that crosses the French capital.
“The water is wonderful, it’s perfect,” Mr. Schnell responded by continuing his dive.

From upstream of Paris, 400 kilometers of China are bordered by agricultural land, so if there is runoff from everything, the phytosanitary products will pollute the river,” explained the journalist. “This is what happened all winter.”
“It costs one billion and 400 million euros to modernize with valve systems and septic tanks, but it is still not fully functional,” he added. Studies have allowed Meyer to swim, but it’s still not fully optimized.
