Bebe Rexha believes she was the victim of a hate crime and discrimination because of her race.
The pop star shared a series of emotional videos on her Instagram Story on Saturday, documenting the incident at Munich International Airport.
“The Lufthansa flight attendant is threatening me,” she cried into the camera, her makeup smudged under her eyes.

“@Lufthansa I was threatened because I thought the security officer was Albanian. I spoke to him in Albanian and asked where I could get my ticket and now he is preventing me from boarding the plane,” Rexha wrote in her story, directly referring to the German airline.
“I believe this is a hate crime because I am Albanian,” Rexha claimed in a written statement. Rexha was born in Brooklyn, New York, and is of Albanian descent.
“He wouldn’t let me take his name. He kept hurting me mentally to make me feel more powerful. [than] “It was.”

“None of the women working at Lufthansa intervened or said anything. He didn’t tell me his name. But I just found out that he works for ATSG.[,] Document control services company hired by Lufthansa.

“I have never felt so emotionally drained,” the singer wrote in an additional post. “Lufthansa has sent me a direct message, but I urge them to conduct a full investigation into who this man is who abused his power. ‘I’m sorry’ will not be enough this time.”
Fox News Digital has learned that Rexha has already boarded her flight.

“We contacted Bebe Rexha directly yesterday to understand the situation and are conducting an internal review into this matter,” a Lufthansa spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
“As an international airline, we connect people and countries across the globe. Our guests and employees come from all over the world. Diversity and equal opportunity are core values of our company and corporate culture. We do not tolerate discriminatory behaviour of any kind.”
A representative for Rexa did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
