On tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, there will be a major announcement regarding the future of the WWE Tag Team Championship held by The Bloodline.

In an in-ring segment featuring self-proclaimed Tribal Leader Solo Sekoa alongside his version of Bloodline, which includes Tonga Loa, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu, a change in Bloodline’s reign as tag team champions was announced.

Solo Sikoa declared in the segment that if Jacob Fatu was going to be his personal enforcer, he couldn’t be the WWE Tag Team Champion either.

Therefore, Sikoa confirmed that Bloodline would be represented by Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga as WWE Tag Team Champions from this point on, even though Fatu was the one who won the championship alongside Tama Tonga initially.

Fatu sat next to Solo Sikoa at the edge of the ring for the title match as Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga looked to defend their titles against the Street Profits.

However, Jacob Fatu (still wearing his walking boot) proved to be pivotal in the match as he stepped in to attack the Street Profits on the outside of the ring near the end of the match.

In the end, Bloodline won the match, but then went on to defeat the Profits.

When DIY’s help (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) ran out of profits, they also found themselves on the wrong side of Bloodline.

Jacob Fatu also continued to take out DIY and the segment ended with Sikoa hitting the Samoan Spikes to DIY and standing tall.
