There are a lot of options.
Stellar Blade features an extensive skill tree with multiple branches that allow you to unlock various abilities and hone Eve's playstyle.
However, choosing which skill you want to unlock and use first can be overwhelming, which is why we're here to help. In this guide we explain the best skills in Star blade To open first.
If you're just starting out, you may notice that some skills are available from the start while others require Intellect Points to unlock.
The best skills in Stellar Blade for early game including experimental skills
Skill type | Skill | Skill description |
attacks | Trap | Executing the enemy from behind. Can only be used on enemies who are not in combat. |
attacks | Stealing Beta energy | Recharges more beta energy upon a successful ambush or attack. |
attacks | Endless rush | Increases charge distance and dash attack power. More effective than Lightning Rush. |
attacks | Rush series | Charges the enemy and deals additional combo attacks. Combo attack skill. |
Survival | Enhance focus | Perfect Parry makes it easy to use. |
Survival | Beta Energy Recharge II | Increases the amount of beta energy recharged through successful perfect parrying. More effective than beta 1 energy recharge. |
Ambush is an essential skill to unlock as it allows you to stealthily execute enemies from behind. Since the enemies are not at gate level, you can use ambush to eliminate any large or small enemy from behind.
It's an incredibly useful skill throughout the campaign, but especially early on when you don't have access to many powerful special abilities.
Beta skills are the first set of special abilities you can access in Stellar Blade. They deal a lot of damage but require Beta Energy to be activated.
Since you'll be relying on Ambush to take out enemies stealthily, Beta Energy Theft is a great skill to have as it recharges the Beta Skill on successful ambush attacks.
Rush is great for closing an enemy's distance, and you may want to get Infinite Rush because it increases the distance you can cover and the attack power of a Rush hit.
Likewise, we recommend unlocking Rush Chain because it deals a whirlwind of combo attack that doesn't require much input but deals massive damage.
Parrying is a very important thing to master in Stellar Blade. However, it can take some getting used to, especially early on, as you learn to balance performing combo attacks with dodging enemy attacks.
Hence, we recommend unlocking the Focus Boost skill as it makes it easier to pull off a perfect save that knocks the enemy off balance.
Likewise, you may want to unlock Beta Energy Recharge II since it increases the Beta Energy you can recover through perfect parries. Additional notes on how to proceed with Beta skills:
While all four of Beta's skills are unique and powerful abilities, we recommend focusing on one of them first and unlocking all of her abilities in its sub-skill tree.
For example, if you decide to unlock Triplet, it is better to unlock all of his subsequent skills that boost Triplet's proficiency first rather than the Beta skill second.
These are some of the best skills in Stellar Blade to use early in the game.
