Buckingham Palace has released a new photo of King Charles III, Camilla, William and Kate

new picture for King Charles III Buckingham Palace launched on Saturday with Camilla, the Queen’s wife, William and Kate, Prince and Princess of Wales.

The photo shows the four senior members of the royal family smiling for the camera in black mourning clothes.

Taken at Buckingham Palace the night before Queen Elizabeth II Funeral before an official reception hosted by the King for heads of state invited to Westminster Abbey Prayer.

The photo was taken by Getty Royal photographer Chris Jackson, who tweeted on Saturday: “Fantastic to have this official photo of the King, Queen Consort and Prince and Princess of Wales together at Buckingham Palace.”

The king spoke about his family during his first official speech as king on September 9.

Having pledged “lifelong service” to the country like his mother before him and speaking of her legacy and his “profound grief”, he spoke of the “unwavering devotion”, support, and pride of the making of William Prince of Wales.

Buckingham Palace shares new photo of King Charles III at work after the Queen’s death

“This is also a time of change for my family,” Charles said the day after the Queen’s death. “I count on the loving help of my dear wife Camilla.”

He continued, speaking of William and Kate: “Today, I am proud to create for him The Prince of Wales, Twiwes Semru, a country whose title I have had the most honor to bear during so much of my life and duty. With Catherine by his side, we have the knowledge that the new Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales will continue to inspire and lead our national conversations. , helping to bring the margins to center stage where vital assistance can be provided.”

They previously held the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who will step down as senior members of the royal family in 2020, lost the photo released on Saturday and did not attend the state reception.

They were at the September 19 funeral for Harry’s grandmother and were also mentioned by the King in his official speech.

He said, “I also want to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives abroad.”

William is next in line to the throne, followed by his three children Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

The palace has published several official photos since the queen’s death, including a picture of Her Majesty wearing a blue dress and looking vibrant and happy during her platinum jubilee celebration, and another picture of the king in his office at Buckingham Palace shortly after the queen’s death.
