Google has already confirmed that one of the devices it will unveil on August 13 is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Images of the upcoming Pixel 9 series have been leaking lately, and we’ve already had a good look at the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Now it’s time to take a look at the Pixel 9 Pro Fold as well in both of its alleged color options: Obsidian and Porcelain.
We still don’t know a lot of details about the new foldable phone. However, one source has provided some details about the new “more traditional” foldable form factor for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which includes a taller, narrower cover display and a near-square foldable display. We also know that the displays will have better brightness, and both will offer a 120Hz refresh rate.
Like the other Pixel 9 phones, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to feature Google’s new Tensor G4 processor, and will be packed with AI from all angles. The chipset could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Sources also hint at a 48MP main camera, accompanied by a 10.5MP ultrawide, a 10.8MP telephoto, and two 10MP selfie cameras.
