Google Pixel 9 is said to get some new Gemini AI features

Apple Intelligence may be delayed, but Google is going full steam ahead with its AI. The leaks suggest that the smartphone will get some new AI-powered features as well as new accessories for an enhanced Gemini experience.

On the Gemini front, Google is working hard to bring Google Assistant to market for the new. The company is working to better integrate Gemini into Google Home. In its current version, Gemini will pass home commands to the Assistant. However, some new additions are said to fix this bottleneck and add some quality-of-life improvements. If the leak is accurate, this AI-powered feature will be integrated into the phone app. It will have the ability to record and transcribe calls, similar to the Pixel 8’s Recorder app, but will likely take things a step further with call summaries.
