A three-year-old child in Connecticut was robbed of a stolen car in Massachusetts.
Video obtained by CNN shows a suspect getting into a red vehicle with the child running away.
Officers were able to quickly access the video and track the suspect down the streets of Chicopee, Massachusetts.
The state police issued an amber alert to warn the public.
Two hours after the vehicle was stolen, the car was found in the parking lot of a shopping center in East Windsor, Connecticut.
A three-year-old boy was found in a nearby hotel.
“The person who found the baby in East Windsor did so because of an Amber Alert,” Connecticut State Police Sergeant Matt Aselin told CNN in an interview. It is truly a team effort. “
Officials have confirmed that the boy is safe.
A 52-year-old suspect, Vadim Vorobyov, was arrested.
He will appear in court again on Monday.
