She’s been shunned by New York high society, but it seems Ivanka Trump still gets a warm welcome from actual royalty.
The former first daughter, 41, was pictured chatting with Prince William, 40, at the wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein in Amman on Thursday.
Trump, who was wearing a light blue dress, spoke in an animated manner as William listened intently during a break in the evening’s proceedings.
This wasn’t the couple’s first meeting, as Trump previously paid a visit to the British royal family during a 2019 visit to the UK with his father, Donald.
The mother-of-three met William, Prince Harry and Princess Kate during a state banquet being held at Buckingham Palace at the time. Princess Kate was also among those present at Thursday’s wedding, though she did not speak to Trump.
The royal nuptials have attracted dignitaries from around the world, including the current first lady, Jill Biden, and her daughter, Ashley. It is unclear if the Biden women also spoke with Trump at the wedding.
Crown Prince Hussein, 28, is the son of Jordan’s King Abdullah II and his wife, Queen Rania. Hussain, who graduated from Georgetown University, married Saudi-born Rajwa Al-Hussein, 28 years old.
Trump’s appearance at the royal wedding on Thursday followed a romantic trip to Greece with husband Jared Kushner.
The couple currently resides in Florida, following reports that they are unable to reside in New York City due to their marriage the animosity held by their liberal friends.
Born and raised in the Big Apple, Trump was once confused with the Manhattan elite, but the social group brutally turned on the blonde after she went to work in her father’s administration.
However, Trump appears to be enjoying a quieter life in Miami after four years of her father’s polarizing presidency.
While her father was making another bid for the White House in 2024, Trump said she was not involved in the campaign.
A source told The Post late last year that, moving forward, she just wants a “normal life” for her family.
“Ivanka hated all the criticism and threats, and she wasn’t happy with the way so many of her friends turned their backs on her,” the source said of her time in the political spotlight.
“She feels that this is bad for her family…and generally negative in her circle of friends.”
The source added, “She wants as normal a life as she can arrange for herself and her family… She is not happy about becoming a political target.”
