A man who used secret recording devices to take photos on the beach has been jailed.
John Gilver, 62, was caught using sunglasses and a neck chain fitted with built-in cameras at Folkestone Harbour in July 2022.
A search of his home in Charing found equipment and other recording devices containing indecent images, including of children.
At Canterbury Crown Court, Gulliver was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison.
He has also become the subject of a sexual harm prevention order.
Gulliver also allegedly secretly installed cameras in the homes of a man and woman he knew, with the intent of spying on them for his own gratification, police said.
He was charged and pleaded guilty to charges of making indecent images of children, voyeurism and possession of an indecent image.
Following the sentencing on Thursday, Detective Inspector Gemma Bell said Gulliver was a “deceitful criminal who exploited people’s trust to carry out his crimes”.
She said she was pleased Gulliver was jailed and that a sexual harm prevention order would protect the public after his release.
