I wish they had an entire Nintendo Direct exhibit that prominently featured Mr. Iwata and a bunch of his memorabilia like the L hat he wore in the 2013 Luigi Direct. Iwata’s legacy deserves to live on forever. Give me a whole room full of Nintendo Direct memorabilia and other products that appeared in Nintendo promotional videos like the Nonspecific Action Figure, lol.

Maybe there could be a photo gallery of a group of Nintendo’s top employees – like when you go to a hospital and find pictures of all the doctors framed on the wall. It would be a good way to introduce us to new employees we don’t know very well. Maybe each could have a small plaque explaining their contributions to the company.

I don’t know if this is necessarily a Japanese thing, but having a room where you can browse through a whole bunch of old Nintendo Power magazines would be cool. They may have all the copies in a sealed display case, but they have a big interactive screen where you can see high-resolution images of every page of every issue sorted by month.

One thing they didn’t show that I feel is needed is the initial hardware designs as well as a section dedicated to concept art and other experimental elements that were scrapped for one reason or another.

The more I thought about it, the more other ideas I could think of that they could implement. They could salvage some of their old E3 booth demos to put in the museum, like the BotW, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Smash Ultimate demos, as well as the Animal Crossing demo they had at PAX that year.

Maybe they could even have a bedroom gallery where you and your partner can enjoy a magical stay in one of their love hotels – **under fire**
