A man in Buffalo froze to death on his 56th birthday after being hit hard by a blizzard and freezing temperatures on Christmas Eve.

A horrifying video showing a man lying on the ground in the middle of a snow-covered street in Buffalo, New York has been making the rounds on social media for some time now.
Authorities have confirmed the man’s death, without identifying him, a local NBC affiliate reported.
However, victim William Clay’s sister confirmed her brother was missing hours later and frequented a convenience store near where he was found frozen to death.

On this page, his sister Sophie Clay says she is devastated by the announcement of William’s death.
“I am the sister of this man who lost his life during the blizzard of December 24, 2022. My brother tragically lost his life on his birthday,” she said.
An autopsy on William Clay’s body will be conducted in the coming days to determine the exact cause of death.
Early in the morning, city officials confirmed that eight people had died in Erie County due to severe weather. The District Collector said that this number is likely to increase further.
The city’s airport plans to reopen for passengers on December 26 at 11 am.
