PowerColor unleashes the dogs of hell
The company is showing off its custom three-slot design for the Radeon RX 7900 series.

PowerColor’s RX 7900 Hellhound series will feature three axial fans. It is important to note that only two colors can be assigned to the illuminated parts: either a standard blue or a new “amethyst purple”. This color will likely be used by the Hellhound Spectral series later, which should have a cool white shroud.
Each RX 7900 XTX Hellhound will have a 14-layer PCB equipped with 20-stage VRAM (same as the Sapphire Nitro). From the looks of it, the card features dual 8-pin power connectors, same as the reference design.

The cooler gets more space for the GPU direct contact copper plate (91 x 89 x 2.6mm), which will cover both the GPU and memory (either 24GB or 20GB depending on the SKU). PowerColor claims the fan design has also been improved, bringing the temperature down by up to 3 degrees Celsius compared to the last-generation Hellhound series.

Unfortunately, PowerColor has not provided any specifications for either of the two models announced today. The company has already disclosed Red Devil 7900 series, which is set to feature a more advanced design with triple 8-pin power connectors. Both models are expected to be fully launched on December 13, but availability is yet to be determined.
