Taylor Swift fans enjoy Vienna after concerts cancelled

Taylor Swift fans enjoy Vienna after concerts cancelled

Taylor Swift fans overcome their disappointment and turn the streets of Vienna into a Swift fan festival following the cancellation of her concerts due to terrorism fears.

The pop star was scheduled to perform three shows at the Ernst Happel Stadium from August 8 to 10.

Now her fans gather in the city and sing along to her best songs while exchanging friendship bracelets.

Travel blogger Kimberly Capehart shared videos on Instagram Stories of the gathering. Fans sang along to several of Swift’s songs, including a parody of “You Need to Calm Down.”

Capehart also showed signs of housing supporting Swift.

Other Swifties have also posted on social media.

“Taylor Swift’s Vienna shows may have been cancelled, but you can’t break Swift’s spirit. That’s what childhood is. Turning something ugly into something beautiful,” one person wrote in a comment on a video of the group singing the extended version of “All Too Well” from Swift’s re-recorded album Red.

Vienna Tourism has announced a host of entertainment options for ticket holders in the city. Several of the city’s museums are offering free admission this weekend, and the Swarovski Kristallwelten store will be offering fans a “crystal surprise” for those with a valid concert ticket, among other offers.
