Earlier today, people woke up to a new notification from Xbox stating that Black Ops 6 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
The message reads: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass on day one later this year!” Which led to people being diverted to this link Xbox wire. As the URL indicated, the announcement is expected to be made today, May 28, 2024.
Later today, Black Ops 6 will reveal a live Black Ops 6 trailer, which should coincide with the announcement of Day One Game Pass.
Following rumors of Black Ops 6 moving to Game Pass last week, new rumors have begun to emerge that the move will bring a change to Game Pass tiers, which could mean increases are on the way soon. Currently, there is Xbox Game Pass Core for console which replaced Xbox Live Gold for $9.99 per month, Game Pass PC for $9.99 per month, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which covers both console and PC for $16.99 per month.
Insider Gaming understands that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is expected to launch on October 25, 2024. The game will be fully revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, 2024. Immediately afterwards, it will be given a direct Black Ops 6 exclusive. , where the developers are expected to discuss some of the game’s features and story in more depth.
