A Russian parliamentarian and TV host have made explosive statements as Vladimir Putin cracks down on Ukraine by recruiting more than 300,000 Russian reservists and holding fake referendums in occupied Ukrainian territories.

On the set of a Russian state television program, Andrei Kuruliov, a member of the Russian parliament, called the argument that nuclear weapons were used in Ukraine absurd, according to a Belgian news site. Free.
