Shannon Sharp He returned to the set of “Undisputed” after missing out on Tuesday’s episode on the co-host Skip BaylessControversial tweet about Hamlin devastationMedical emergency…and it only took 40 seconds before the feud broke out.
Shannon kicked off the Wednesday show by talking about Hamlin’s situation in his opening monologue… saying, “Watching that game Monday night, what happened to Damar Hamlin shocked me a little bit.”
Sharpe explained that he’s watched his NFL brothers suffer serious injuries throughout his career…but added that seeing someone has to be Live in the field It was a completely different experience.
Shannon then addressed Bayless’s tweet directly… which, according to Skip, should never have happened.
“Skip something on Twitter and even though I disagree with the tweet – I hope Skip deletes it.”
Bayliss immediately interrupted his host… saying, “Time’s up — I’m not going to delete it because I stand by what you tweeted.”
Sharpe was clearly angry at Skip’s intrusion…and he replied, “I can’t even get through a monologue without interrupting you.”
Then the Hall of Famer explained why he was absent from the Tuesday show… saying the discussion should be about Hamlin, not Skip’s tweet.
“I didn’t want yesterday to get into a situation where Damar Hamelin was the problem. We should have talked about it, and not got into your tweet. That’s what I would have done. But you can’t even let me finish my introductory speech without interrupting you.”
Skip says he was under the impression his tweet wouldn’t be discussed on the show… claiming the producers had no problem with what he said.
