Perez issues unlucky verdict after Red Bull ‘gamble’ fails

Sergio Perez has admitted he was “not lucky” at all at the British Grand Prix, after Red Bull’s early “gamble” on medium tyres failed.

Perez started from the pitlane after receiving a new power unit, after crashing out of first qualifying on Saturday after spinning at Cobbs.

Red Bull hails Hamilton’s power to beat Verstappen

Red Bull team advisor Dr Helmut Marko was quick to praise Lewis Hamilton after the Mercedes driver ended his two-and-a-half-year win drought at the British Grand Prix.

The race was frantic and entertaining at Silverstone, with dynamic weather conditions throwing more variables into an already close battle between Mercedes, McLaren and Max Verstappen’s Red Bull.

Russell reveals moment he realised British Grand Prix was ‘over’

George Russell has revealed he realised the British Grand Prix was about to end 10 laps before he retired due to a water system failure.

The Briton led the opening stages from pole position, but was overtaken by team-mate Lewis Hamilton when the rain started to fall on lap 18.

Norris vows to win at Silverstone after beating himself up again

Lando Norris is left regretting another potential Grand Prix win that slipped through his fingers due to a wrong decision.
