The ‘Masked Singer’ contestant left about two days before filming started

The Masked Singer could have been a massive mess… because TMZ knew, one of the biggest contestants dropped out 48 hours before filming this season!

The Masked Singer’s sources tell us, no contestant has ever threatened to quit so close to the start of the season before…so everyone was surprised, and without a back-up plan… they would pretty much have become an SOL.

Essentially, the show’s executives will have to completely renew the season… before it even begins. But luckily, they were able to do some serious damage control… and the show went on as planned.

We learned that there were a number of things that played a role in a rider’s initial decision, from feeling unprepared to feeling overly restrained in the costume/mask.

We know what you’re thinking…but this wasn’t a case of stage fright. We were told that this particular contestant is no stranger to live shows on stage, but the giant outfit totally threw them away.

These “wardrobe malfunctions” are nothing new to people in “masked.” As mentioned earlier, the complexity of costumes has increased So many worries …know like on-stage surveys, runners safety, etc.

In this case, the crisis was averted … that is, after the producers of MS sent flowers to the performers and gave some positive conversations and praise. The contestant turned out to be a really strong performer and we were told he had the potential to win everything.
