20:00 Previously on ‘American Idol’, the Top Five performed in Vote America. After Seacrest announced the top 5 players, we said goodbye to Fritz Hager And Nikolina. Tonight, the champion will be crowned. Let’s go!

8:07 pm The epilogue begins with Flo Rida’s “Feeling Good” performance from atop the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. I think nine of the top 10 play alongside him, I don’t see that Emerson Flora. Maybe you couldn’t do that? She is still in high school, she may have had other commitments. Then, Seacrest allowed the entire audience to respond when he announced that there had been exposure to COVID in Carrie UnderwoodSo, due to protocols, Carrie will not perform tonight. The show will start in the Battle Round. After two rounds of music, we’ll see a snapshot of the vote and the third place winner will be disqualified! Let’s go!

8:12 PM – The first round will feature performances from the famous songwriters of Bruce Springsteen. up is Leah Marilyn Sing “Cover Me”. She rocks guitar, but I’m not sure I would have chosen this song for her. There are so many classics, why is that? It really doesn’t do much for her voice. In the end it left me thinking, sure, she looks great, but what a forgotten moment. It’s not a familiar song (thank you!), Lionel says, but it still brings us (not really). Katie calls it “such a groove” and thinks Leah is the complete package.

8:18 pmHunterGirl He is next with a much better song selection, “Dancing in the Dark”. Unfortunately she only sings about half of the notes with the correct key. Sorry, I know the judges won’t mention it, but it’s all over the place. Maybe it was out of nerves, but this was one of her worst vocal performances. Katie praises her for bringing “electricity” to her performance. Luke loves her song selection. Lionel wants her jacket.

8:28 pmNoah Thompson This first round will conclude with “I’m on Fire”. This is a great choice of song and goes with his bold sound. It’s a little stiff on stage, but it looks good. He’s the heart of the season to boot, so I’d say he won this round. Luke calls him the “King of Aw Shucks.” Lionel says he is now an “artist”. Katie says Noah picked her favorite Springsteen song and just pounced and grabbed everyone’s heart in America. Ryan asks the judges who is in the lead. Of course they completely shrink back and refuse to answer. It’s kind of a nuisance, just give an opinion! I will give my own. Noah won that round.

8:40 pm – In the second round, the finalists will sing their first singles after taking a look at their visit to Hometown Hero. After her trip to Normal, Illinois, Leah will sing her original song “Flowers”. She has such a wonderful tone. This song is for her Stevie Nicks Feeling energized about it, but I think Leah could have a lot of success in the country genre if she chose to go that route. It’s kind of bending the species in a reminiscent way Brandy Carlyle. Lionel gives her props around her songwriting skills. Katie cries and says she feels blessed to be a part of the show. You think Leah’s song will change people’s lives. Luke says the song is great and he’s overjoyed watching it.

8:52 pm – After his trip to Louisa, Kentucky, Noah sang his original song “One Day Tonight”. This is a song that charts really well on iTunes, which makes me think it’s a potential winner. It’s a very basic song, but it gives a solid performance. A video package about his trip home will have an even greater impact on voters than that performance. Katie tells him not to stop dreaming. Lionel says there’s nothing better in life than having the mayor, friends, and high school come for you. But what makes your career last forever is when people fall in love with you.

9:05 PM After her trip to Winchester, Tennessee, HunterGirl finished the second round with a performance of her song “Red Bird”. But, wow, this video of her with the veterans was so touching. That was a tear pistol. It was great to see how much influence she had on these veterans. I love organizing this performance. beautiful words. Luke is passionate because his farm is called Red Bird Farm. Katie says everyone tonight is doing something special.

9:20 pmEarth, wind and fire Sings “Shining Star”, “Let’s Groove” and “September” with the finalists in the Top 7 Jay. This was fun! Next up, the top 10 finalists Mike Parker Joins the CMA winner Diana Carter To serve “strawberry wine.” loved it. But now it’s time to act. Each of the top 3 runners has run twice. Viewers have been voting for over an hour and now it’s time to remove the person with the fewest votes. The singer who took third place is Leah Marilyn. She’s had a great run, but it’s going to be a country showdown for the Season 20 title.

9:33 pmBen Platt And join the finalists for the top 10 lady k To perform Elton Jones “Take me to the pilot.” I love the look she rocks. She looks like a star there and looks great. Then idol alum Gabby Barrett She returns to sing her single “Pick Me Up”. Next, Flora Emerson joins Gabe to sing “The Good Ones,” so I guess she’s there! I must not have seen her at that previous group performance.

9:45 pmTy Verdes He is on stage singing “AOK” with Vinnie Guardino, Lady K, Jay, Mike & Emerson. Next, singing “She used to be mine” Sarah Bareilles With the top 5 finalists Nikolina. Honestly, this performance is better than anything we’ve seen from the finalists tonight, but it’s a killer song and Nicolina is a vocal beast.

9:47 PM Just a small note about what’s happening live on the iTunes charts as this finale progresses. HunterGirl’s single “Red Bird” is currently at number three and Noah’s One Day Tonight is at number five. That’s not much of a distance between them, but does that mean HunterGirl might have an advantage tonight? Leah Marlene’s song “Flowers” took 14th place.

9:57 PM – Katy Perry takes the stage with Thomas Rhett To sing their collaboration “Where We Started From”. it was good. Then the top 5 finalists Fritz Hager join James Arthur To perform “Can I Be Him”. Fritz looks great!

10:10 PMMichael Buble Fulfilling his promise to join the seven finalists, Vinnie takes the stage to perform the song “Smile”. They look great together. Such a dramatic delivery! next one Melissa Etheridge Noah joined him on the song “I’m the Only One”. Well, Noah is on the rise, but the kid doesn’t have the attendance to stand by the rock legend. She’s kind of eating him alive, but it’s still great to watch! At one point, even Noah had no choice but to back off and smile while Melissa sprints onto the stage.

10:30 pm Lionel Richie took the stage with the top 10 finalists to sing “You Are”. It is a living legend. Next, Ben Platt and Sarah Bareilles return to sing “Grow As We Go” together. Jay, Nicolina, Fritz, and Leah act as backup singers. Then Ryan HunterGirl and Noah brought out to let them know that they each won a Disney cruise. After a commercial break, Katie joins Leah in a performance of “Fireworks”. I love this! Luke Bryan then joined HunterGirl for Randy Travis’ favorite song, “I Told You So.” This is actually the best HunterGirl has looked like all night.

10:42 PM Noah is awake with his last performance at night. It’s a repetition of “stay” Rihanna, who sang it on the Hollywood Showstopper tour. Look how far he’s come since then! He looks sharp in a suit without a tie. Noah could have had a country afflicted with this. Katie says, “How dare you put on that suit and sing that song!” Luke says when Noah sang it the first time they knew he had something special. I prove it more.

10:50 PM – For HunterGirl’s latest performance, she’s singing her original audition song, “Riot” Bastard Flats. Look calm and collected on stage. It’s wise to choose a song that you feel comfortable with at the last minute. It takes it all! Katie says “American Idol” will end tonight, but her career will be forever. Luke says he has no doubts that HunterGirl will have a huge career. Lionel says he’s proud to say he was guiding her on her path to stardom.

10:59 PM The final voting for the season is now closed. It’s time for Seacrest to give us the news. The winner of ‘American Idol’ season 20 is Noah Thompson! Congratulations, Noah! HunterGirl is a bridesmaid. Noah concludes the show with the winning song “One Day Tonight.” This is a summary of the “American Idol” season.
