Minneapolis – The exchange between Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and former NBA star Charles Barkley on Thursday night is garnering a lot of attention across the country and at home.
Edwards spoke with Barkley after Minnesota’s Game 7 win over the NBA champion Denver Nuggets.
At one point during the postgame interview, Barkley told Edwards he hadn’t been to Minnesota in “maybe 20 years.” Edwards responded nonchalantly: “Bring it, donkey.”
It didn’t take long for the comment to go viral, and for some to take advantage.
In fact, the site Bringyaass.com It now redirects to the Explore Minnesota website.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was even asked to comment on the phrase that has become the state’s new tourism slogan.
The Minnesota State Fair even participated.
Barkley will be in town for Minnesota’s games against the Dallas Mavericks in Games 1 and 2, so be sure to also ask Edwards for some dining recommendations.
“Yes, I’ll find your number through someone. I’ll send it to you,” Edwards said.

Timber wolves are They are four wins away from their first trip to the NBA Finals. To get there, they’ll have to go through Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Mavericks. Game 1 is set for 7:30pm on Wednesday.
