In almost 24 hours, more than 3.3 million USD was raised.
“President Donald Trump has authorized this account as a destination for donations for supporters and families injured or killed in today’s brutal and brutal assassination attempt,” the page’s description reads.
A man named Corey Comperatore was killed in the attack on the former President of the United States on Saturday.
Two others, David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, were also injured, but are in stable condition, CNN reported.
In a statement, Donald Trump’s national campaign finance director, Meredith O’Rourke, authorized the creation of the former US president’s account, CNN reported.
Donald Trump arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday evening to attend the Republican National Convention, where he is expected to officially be nominated for the presidential nomination.
