Atlus accidentally revealed Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica early on Instagram

Atlus appears to have revealed a remake of Persona 3 (called Persona 3 Reload) and another title called Persona 5 Tactica by accident, posting trailers on Instagram and then quickly removing them.

As discovered by a number of Twitter users, the official atlus_west Instagram account posted two trailers on Thursday, then quickly pulled them up.

Some managed to catch the videos before they were removed, which means they are now circulating on social media.

Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica end by saying the games are coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

They also mention that both games will be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Since there is no mention of PlayStation consoles in the trailers, it means either that the games are Xbox exclusives, or that the trailers were planned for Sunday’s Xbox Games Showcase and were posted three days earlier by mistake.

Footage surfaced in April of what appeared to be remakes of Persona 3 and Jet Set Radio.

A Twitter user posted a (now deleted) video that showed Yukari from Persona 3 shooting magic arrows, in footage that seems more detailed than Persona 3 usually does.

This was followed by early preview footage of Sonic Frontiers, then a short five-second clip that appeared to show the Beat from Jet Set Radio dancing. The video had text in the corner of the screen that read “footage in development”.

on time, Jimatsu He seems to suggest that the Persona 3 footage may be somewhat real, noting: “While we can’t verify the footage itself, Gematsu is aware that a Persona 3 remake has been in development at Atlus for several years.”
