(Washington) Members of the delegation investigating the January 6, 2021 congressional riots claim that the federal judiciary has gathered enough evidence to consider the allegations against former President Donald Trump.

    Released at 2:38 p.m.

“I want the judiciary to investigate all credible crimes of Donald Trump,” said Adam Schiff, a Democrat who is a member of the panel. He did some work with the aim of reversing the election results. ⁇

The panel held its first hearing last week. Each member described the defeated president’s efforts to invalidate the results of the November 2020 referendum won by Democrat Joe Biden.

Jan. 6, 2021 The Commission of Inquiry, appointed to shed light on the attack on the Capitol, held its first public hearing on Thursday evening.

The new source will be released next week. They can demonstrate how Donald Trump and his advisers made a “massive effort” to spread misinformation and pressure the judiciary to embrace his ill-advised thesis.

Members said Sunday that the most important session will be when Attorney General Merrick Garland appears, and he will finally meet with Mr. It remains to be seen whether Trump will be prosecuted. They have no doubt that the evidence is sufficient.

“When evidence is collected by the judiciary, they have to decide on it. Can he prove it before an arbitral tribunal beyond a reasonable doubt? [l’ancien] Is the president or anyone else guilty? Mr. Schiff argues. In my opinion, we need to investigate credible evidence. ⁇

Democrat Rep. Jamie Ruskin, Mr. He said he had no intention of intimidating Carland, but Mr. He pointed out that the panel has already filed legal arguments showing that Trump repeatedly violated criminal law.

“He knows. His staff knows. Federal prosecutors know. They know what’s in danger. They focus on historical precedents and facts.”

Mr. Garland does not specify what he wants to do in the future, which seems complicated. Mr. Trump has made it clear that he wants to run again in 2024. “We will follow the facts as they guide us,” the attorney general told students at Harvard University in May.

In March, a federal judge in California found that the former president had “violated” the law by trying to invalidate the outcome of the November 2020 election. Donald Trump has always denied the facts.
