Boy dies after fight at recreation center

Boy dies after fight at recreation center

A 10-year-old boy died last week after getting into a fight with another child at a trampoline center in Merced, California.

Investigators say Anthony Duran collapsed after fighting with the boy while playing basketball.

The other child would have run away after the war.

Young Anthony was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, CNN reports.

An investigation has been initiated to see if a charge sheet can be filed in the case.

The police went through the footage from the surveillance cameras, they met the parents of the accused and several witnesses.

Relatives of the victim and his family do not understand what could have happened and why the police is taking so long to get back to them.

“He was playing football. He was into boxing. He played basketball. He had no health issues,” said family friend Nellie Barragan.

“Why is the police taking so long to act? “Why were there a dozen patrolmen on the scene the day of the tragedy, and now they’re talking about a medical issue,” wonders Anthony’s aunt, Angela Reyes.

An autopsy was ordered by the District Coroner to shed light on the cause of the child’s death.
