Celine Dion opened up about her struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome in a new interview with Vogue Franceshe looks vibrant as she struts her stuff in a bra-less look in one of her two May 2024 cover shots.
The “My Heart Will Go On” singer, 56, appeared topless under a white Balenciaga button-up shirt on the first edition of the cover, covering her chest with one hand while puckering her lips and holding the other hand in the air. .
The legendary star added a sporty white mini skirt by the designer and black Calzedonia tights to the shoot, which was organized by celebrity hairstylist Lou Roach and photographed by Cass Beard.
In the second cover shot, the “I Drove All Night” singer wore a fuzzy wool coat by Alaiyah with matching pink pumps, and pulled the pastel look off her shoulders like an evening dress.
She appeared with the coat pulled up to cover her entire head in another photo, with only her legs and ankle heels visible in the shot.
Dion, who announced that she suffers from a rare neurological disease called Stiff Person Syndrome in late 2022, spoke about her condition to Vogue, saying: “I haven't overcome the disease, because it's still inside me and it always will be. I hope we find a miracle, a way to cure it through scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it.
The “It's All Coming Back to Me Now” singer continued that she undergoes five days of intense “exercise, physical and vocal therapy” each week.
“I either train like an athlete and work really hard, or I stop working and it's over. I stay home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself,” Dion said, adding: “I want to be the best I can be.”
As for her relationship with fashion, the “Power of Love” singer said that she emphasizes not accepting free gifts.

“I've always bought everything myself. I didn't want to borrow,” she told French Vogue, explaining that it was “a form of respect.”
“People pay money to come and hear me sing, so I pay to buy designer clothes for myself,” Dion said.
At the end of the day, the pop icon said she was “honoured” to be asked to appear in French Vogue this year because she “was healthier and more beautiful when she was 30” but “wasn't asked to do it at the time.”
“I am so proud that at 55 years old, I am being asked to reveal my beauty,” she said, concluding: “Today, I am a woman who feels strong and positive about the future. One day at a time.”
