A new video has been released to the public that reveals the minutes following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and shows moments of confusion between US law enforcement.

“Once again, I believe the shooter who saw these photos and sent them is in this building,” insists the agent, who is wearing a body camera and is talking to one of his colleagues from the Secret Service.
In the video, members of the police are on the roof where Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump on July 13, was sitting. We can see his weapon and his body covered in blood.
Nevertheless, the footage confirms that agents saw the shooter on the roof and shared photos of him, but lost sight of him before he opened fire on the former US president.
Detailed investigations into the security breaches associated with the incident are still ongoing.
