FLOREHAM PARK, NJ – Three notable players from the last New York Jets team of 2010 – Debrecacho Ferguson, Nick Mangold and Daryl Reeves – will be inducted into the team’s honor ring during separate halftime celebrations this season, the team announced Thursday.

Revis was the most capped of the trio. Revis was billed three times on the New York All-Pro team (2009-11) as a qualifier for the 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame category, and was widely regarded as one of the best defensive players in franchise history.

Mangold and Ferguson, known by fans as Nick & Brick, were hugely popular because they played their entire career with the Jets. In 2006, they became the first pair of offensive linemen drafted in the first round by the same team since 1975.

This unusual move, along with Revis’ drafting in the first round in 2007, paid off as the Jets made the playoffs in 2006, 2009 and 2010 – their last round of boom.

A strong left-footed player, Ferguson was known for his toughness. In 10 seasons, he never missed a match. In fact, he only missed one shot, when he was moved on the playing instrument at the end of the 2008 season. Mangold, who cemented the streak in the center, was a two-time All-Pro pick and seven-time Pro Bowler.

“It’s amazing and amazing because he’s with two of my buddies,” Mangold said, according to Gates’ official website. “Revis, it was just great to be on the team with you. It was amazing having you. Sharing this honor with you is awesome. Brick, we started this together again in Mobile, Alabama [at the Senior Bowl]Now we close it together. This is very special to me and a wonderful thing.”

Mangold, Ferguson and Reeves will be the 17th, 18th and 19th players in the Arena of Honor, which debuted in 2010.
