Six months waiting NFL The night ends with the annual Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders will face off at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame at 8 p.m. ET.
While televised football is a sight for sore eyes, Thursday night’s game won’t exactly be the Chiefs vs. Bills at the AFC Championship.
You’ll see many lesser-known players trying to make a roster, while the stars play limited, if any, shots.
But there was still intrigue with the start of the NFL preseason.
Three players in the USFL Among those in contention Thursday night will be Jaguar-clad quarterback Kyle Slaughter, corner back Ike Brown and wide receiver Isaiah Zuber getting his shot with the Raiders.

Slaughter, who spent time with the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and Raiders, threw 1,798 yards and nine touchdowns in one season with the New Orleans Breakers.
“There is a lot of history in this game,” Slaughter said, According to Fox Sports. “It is an honor to be able to play in it.

“It’s definitely great to be back,” he added, referring to Tom Benson Stadium. “It is always good to be in familiar territory. Mentally, I was able to imagine myself in some of the situations I would be in, just in my surroundings and know what I feel on this grass and on this court.”
Sloter should get plenty of opportunity to show off his skills as Trevor Lawrence, the first NFL winner of 2021, will not be playing Thursday night. Slaughter thinks his last playing time will be an advantage because he’s trying to make it happen Jaguar List.
“I’m one of the few people who watched the game a month and a half ago,” Slaughter said. “A lot of these players are playing their first game a year ago this time, pre-season was the only time they played. [play]. Or they are beginners who have never played at this level before.
“So I’m sure, for a lot of guys, the lights are going to be a little too bright and you’ll make mistakes. For others, some people live up to that.”
