On a recent episode of “Last Weekend” with famous comedian Theo Vaughn sat with Fellow comedian Roseanne Barr, whose show was canceled back in 2018 in the wake of She is sending racist tweets. Now, Barr made another troubling comment, telling him “no one died in the Holocaust,” before adding, “It’s He should It is happening. Six million Jews must die now “because they cause all the troubles in the world.”
It’s unclear if she truly believed the Holocaust didn’t happen, or if she was making a hateful comment about what you are and aren’t allowed to say online.
Barr previously attributed her cancellation to her racist tweet, which read: “The Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes have a baby = vj [Valerie Jarrett]”,” to “intellectual burning, arrogance and ignorance.” All the press of the United States and the world, how did you interpret my tweet without any knowledge of the fact that I was sending it to a journalist in Iran about what was happening to people in Iran. We are under this terrible censorship. It’s terrible and terrifying.”
In May, I also criticized the former Roseanne Co Star Sarah Gilbert for speaking out about its cancellation due to racist tweets. “That wasn’t enough [Gilbert] She stabbed me in the back and did what she did to me there, but then she would go on her talk show every day and talk about how shocking she was at my racism on top of her,” Barr told Megyn Kelly. [Gilbert’s] Tweet canceled the show.
Barr, who is Jewish, brought up the Holocaust in the context of a conversation with Vaughn about his inability to speculate that the recent presidential election was rigged without being taken down from Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
“You can’t say that like, you know, the election,” Barr told Vaughn, “was rigged or not,” Vaughn finished. Parr replied, “That’s right.” “It’s all a lie. The election wasn’t rigged. 36 counties.” Can It gives you 81 million votes. This is a fact.”
“That’s the truth,” Barr said, as Vaughn laughed. “And don’t you dare say anything against it. You’ll be off YouTube and Facebook and Twitter and all the other sites because we have, you know, there is such a thing as truth and facts and we have to stick to it.”
And that’s the truth, Barr continued, “no one died in the Holocaust either.”
Vaughn did not retract Barr’s statement in the clip, instead asking her: “You’re part Jewish, right? And a lot of Hollywood is Jewish, right? They started Hollywood.”
Parr replied, “Just like rap music, black people started rapping.” So I went out there and tried to get into rap and go, ‘All these black people, you know, go on Saturday Night Live Like Dave Chappelle. I’m just saying a lot of black people control rap. Welcome?’ Well, I went there. I’ve tried to get into show business. Of course he is Jewish. But you know, and people should be happy that he’s Jewish, too, because if the Jews didn’t control Hollywood, all you’d get were the fucking catch shows.”
In response to her comments on Tuesday, Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said: chirpSarcasm or not, Roseanne Barr’s comments about Jews and the Holocaust are reprehensible and irresponsible. It’s not funny. And shame on Theo Vaughn for letting it pass unchallenged and instead diving into conspiracy theories about Jews and Hollywood.”
