More than three months after the Vikings stunned the Packers with a lopsided win in Week 1 to start the 2022 season, the NFC North rivals are starting again, this time in the cold Lambeau air. There is a lot at stake. Aaron Rodgers and company are looking for a fourth straight win to survive the wild card race. Meanwhile, Minnesota is up for another close game and is looking to prove that it belongs among the top contenders in the conference. So far, everything has swung the Packers’ way, with the defense and special teams leading 27-3 at the break.
Justin Jefferson has caused almost everyone trouble this year, getting the best of the Packers the last time those rivals met, but Green Bay’s top cap man, Jair Alexander, spoke this week about shutting the star wide open. Is the players’ renewed confidence enough to carry them to a home win, potentially changing the standings for the NFC Finals? Or is Kevin O’Connell’s team destined to come back late and sweep the green and yellow en route to the postseason?
Either way, this is must watch TV. Stay tuned throughout Sunday’s game for live updates and analysis.
