– Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election, spoke in a speech in Michigan where he defended the use of the word “animals” to describe illegal immigrants who commit violent crimes. He specifically blamed Joe Biden for the death of a young woman from Michigan who was allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant of Mexican descent last March. Trump got the woman's age wrong, giving her 17 instead of 25. The suspect is her 25-year-old boyfriend.
