Rogue Company, which hasn’t received an update since October 2023, was patched by the developers just to remove the Dr Disrespect crosshair.

Dr. Disrespect has had a huge impact on the gaming community, with millions of followers and multiple collaborations between Turtle Beach, Midnight Society, and others.

However, after information was revealed about him sending inappropriate messages to minors, all of these projects severed their ties with Dr. Disrespect.

Turtle Beach has removed its movie titled Dr Disrespect. Headphones from her storeMidnight Society, a gaming company co-founded by the doctor, has decided to end its partnership with him.

Developed by HiRez, Rogue Company gained attention from the gaming community in its early stages as a five-on-five multiplayer shooter. During the hype period, the developers collaborated with Dr Disrespect to create a skin and an entire map dedicated to him.

Following the release of the video and comments on their subreddit confirming the refund, Rogue Company developers took to X and explained that all content related to Dr Disrespect had been removed.

“Hello Rogue Company, we have disabled the Dr Disrespect content that was previously available in the game. We will be refunding the full Rogue Buck to any affected accounts this week,” the company said on X.

However, despite the promise of a refund, players were not happy with the decision to refund them through in-game currency rather than actual money.

“Give me my money back, I don’t want to buy any more of your crappy skins,” said one commenter.
