A young woman accused of killing her infant child is the result of a heinous crime and is convicted of murder. Paris Mayo, who was 15 at the time of the crime, collapsed as she heard the verdict.

The young woman from England, now 19, did not know she was pregnant at the time of her trial, the Daily Mail reported.

Her baby was named Stanley in the fall of 2018, according to the Crown. On his part, the accused said that he was not feeling well and was suffering from stomach and back pain.

Paris Mayo’s attorney during the trial asked her if she knew she was pregnant at some point before the baby was born.

“No, I was always afraid of the idea that I could be. I never took the test,” he told the jury under oath.

The young woman gave birth in the room with her parents. “He didn’t cry or make a sound, his eyes weren’t open. (..) I started to get scared because he wasn’t crying, I was really scared. It all happened so fast, I don’t really remember it,” Paris Mayo said, according to the Daily Mail.

“I only remember him hitting her on the head, that’s the truth. When I untied it the cord was around her throat and that’s where it broke,” she adds.

“Stanley suffered a fractured skull. Did you do him on purpose?” Advocate General submitted. “No,” replied the defendant. The judges did not believe his version.

Paris Mayo, March 23, 2019, places her foot on a child’s skull that caused fractures. Then, he sticks five pieces of cotton in his mouth. Two pieces were found deep in the child’s throat.
