Burning Man “Doc Team” photographer Jen Ho shared some of her photos of the festival participants with SFGATE. The Arts Festival took place from August 28 to September 5 in the Black Rock Desert in Gerlach, Nevada.
“I’ve always been inspired by what people want to show there, whether it’s in fashion or art,” Hu explained. “It just blows my mind what people can accomplish.”

This year, it was even tougher for festival-goers to flaunt their plaything costumes with the hours-long dust storms and sweltering heat.
“People wear the most exquisite, exciting and creative clothes,” Hu Jintao said. “I wish I had captured more than I was able to. I wish I could spend days following the people around them and taking pictures of them. Because it’s always like, ‘Who are you?’ How can you do all this? And can you keep yourself clean and clean your clothes afterwards? “
