Theory will defend his WWE United States title at “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view this weekend.
Tonight’s episode of WWE “Raw” featured a match against Ciampa and Mustafa Ali where the condition was that if Ali could achieve victory, he would take the United States title in the future. Ali actually ended up winning his match against Ciampa, but that’s when Theory was veering off him and saying the United States title match was happening right away.
Throughout the commercial break, Theory continued to beat Ali. The bell rang as soon as the show went live on TV again, and shortly after a fight on Ali’s side, Theory would pick up the victory and retain the United States title.
On his way to the ramp, Adam Pearce interrupted the celebration of the theory and explained that Vince McMahon liked the way he handled that match in his favour. However, Vince wants to see a fair fight for the United States Championship, so Ali will get another shot at a match at “Hell in a Cell” this weekend. Theorist seemed upset by the news as the clip concluded.
