As the 2024 NFL preseason kicks off, the New England Patriots will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, August 15, in an exhibition game at Gillette Stadium. With Jerod Mayo replacing Bill Belichick as the Patriots’ head coach, and rookie quarterback Drake Maye making his (brief) debut in last week’s preseason win over the Carolina Panthers, there’s a lot of attention on the Patriots this season. But the Eagles are also showing some positive form so far, winning their first preseason game against Baltimore, 16-13.
