Lori Vallo Table allegedly killed her children to satisfy her needs for ‘money, power and sex’, the latter representing ‘obstacles’ to her desires, prosecutors in charge of the case said on Monday in the States.-United.
The mother and her husband, Chad, killed their two children, Joshua “JJ” Wallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 16, in 2019. They also allegedly killed Chad’s 49-year-old ex-wife Tammy.
The notorious “Doomsday Mother,” who believes the end of the world is near and we must prepare for Christ’s resurrection, and her husband took money from the insurance and Social Security of the three dead, prosecutors allege.
“Defendant Lori Wallo Table used money, power and sex or the promise of these things to get what she wanted,” prosecutor Lindsey Blake told jurors. It doesn’t matter what obstacles she has to overcome to get what she wants.”
The Idaho couple faces charges of first-degree double murder and conspiracy to murder Tommy Tabelle in October 2019, nearly a month after Lori and Chad married.
“Defendant and Chad used their self-proclaimed religious beliefs and teachings to justify their actions to others,” Blake asserted.
