An 18-year-old mother from Miami, Florida, was arrested this week on a $3,000 ransom after she allegedly tried to hire a hitman to cover the death of her 3-year-old son ‘by Thursday’.
On Tuesday, Miami-Dade police received a call from someone who allegedly ran a fake hitman website created to trap people looking to hire hitmen, 18-year-old Jasmine Pace, CBS News reported Thursday.
A young mother has been charged with first-degree murder and using a communication device for an unlawful purpose after agreeing to pay $3,000 to kill her 3-year-old son.
According to investigators, Jasmine Baez may have asked for assignments by Thursday, US media continued.
To make things easier, the girl would have sent the boy’s photo and the corresponding address to his grandmother’s house. Fortunately, the child was rescued safely.
For her part, the young woman would have been handcuffed at her home, where police would have found traces of the hitman’s website in her browsing history.
