According to Washington Post, Letters from disheartened Russian soldiers were found in a house occupied by soldiers in Izium, a town of about 50,000 people.

These letters have been sent to the Russian authorities. Their mission is to leave the Russian occupied ground in Ukraine.

Among the issues they raise are restlessness and moral exhaustion.

“I refuse to end my involvement in special operations on Ukrainian territory due to lack of rest days and moral exhaustion,” one might read.

According to the American newspaper, these letters were written at the end of August, a week before the publication of Izioum.

Another soldier asked to be released “due to his health and lack of necessary medical attention”.

The Ukrainians, besides the letters, have made terrible discoveries in this liberated city. On September 15, a mass grave was discovered. About 440 tombs were discovered.
