Alexis Jandar found out the hard way this week when he slipped off the springboard on Thursday during the opening of the Paris Aquatics Centre.

The Paris Aquatics Center is one of the venues that will be used for the Olympic Games later this summer.

Fortunately, Jandar was not seriously injured in the fall, just a little embarrassed, as French President Emmanuel Macron was present.

Jandar won a silver medal in the 2022 World Championships in the team competitions, and a bronze medal in the men’s 3-meter synchronized jump in the 2023 World Championships. He also competed for the French national team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
