Gracie Abrams, who performed with Taylor Swift on her final night in London in June, has revealed a joke Travis Kelce told her that helped her stay calm before her brief appearance on the European leg of the singer’s “Eras” tour.

The 24-year-old actress, daughter of Star Wars director JJ Abrams, took to the stage at Wembley last month to duet Swift’s hit song “US” with the pop star.

But, since she was nervous before presenting to the packed audience, Abrams was backstage with Kelsey, who revealed her fun interaction with her on SiriusXM.

“Before we went up together we were in the tent, and he went up right before me — I think he sang two songs or something,” Abrams said.

“It’s like, ‘I’m going to mess it up so you look really good.’”

I felt less anxious after Travis Kelce made fun of himself and said he would make himself look bad so she could look good on stage at Wembley.

The California-born aspiring pop star added that Kelsey’s support was a testament to the atmosphere among Swift’s tour contractors.

“The truth is… it’s just a community of really supportive people,” Abrams told Billboard.

“In fact, everyone, whether you’re in the tent or in the top row of the stadium, it’s like everyone is there because there’s a deep joy and emotion connected to all the music that I’ve made over the past eighteen years.

“…it’s really something magical.”

According to the UK Official Charts Company, Abrams’ new album, “The Secret of Us,” has surpassed Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department,” which currently holds the top spot, in June.
