He dies following an argument over a parking space
A 61-year-old man has died after he was allegedly punched in the face by a tow truck driver during an argument over a parking space in Brooklyn, New York.
The New York Post reported that the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near a gas station.
The two were said to have collided when the tow truck driver punched the 61-year-old man to the ground and fell to his death.
First responders took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A friend of the victim, who identified him as Carlyle Thomas, told the New York Post that the latter lived next door to the gas station and that he sometimes used the nearby parking lot temporarily.
He reportedly received a call that his vehicle was about to be towed.
When he told the tow truck driver not to move his car, he allegedly punched him in the face.
Police arrested the driver of the tow truck, according to New York police.
