After a four-day trial, in November, Judge Virginia A. Phillips found Stevens guilty of, among other things, six counts of producing child pornography, one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possession of obscenity.

Authorities received reports of two shares of obscene material on the online messaging app Kick Between August and November 2019, his account was associated with Stevens.

In November 2019, federal agents showed up at Stevens’ home with a search warrant. The woman admitted to taking sexually explicit videos, including performing oral sex on a child, and taking 8 to 10 nude photos with a second victim, who was under the age of 12.

Apart from the explicit sexual videos made in May 2019, the accused took sexual snapshots of a young child in June 2019 and then sexual snapshots of a second victim aged under 12 between October and November 2018. All of them were saved in his account. , as well as hundreds of child pornography images and videos.

Following interviews, police discovered that Stevens had made videos of her victim in an exchange with a twisted like-minded user and testified to her tremors.

“The defendant was convicted of fulfilling his lewd sexual fantasies about two children, including a toddler,” said U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada. Sexual exploitation of children is intolerable, and my office will aggressively prosecute these heinous crimes.

“Today’s significant sentence is yet another example of my office’s commitment to holding accountable criminals whose heinous behavior causes immeasurable trauma to the most vulnerable.”

Stevens will be sentenced to life in prison upon his release from prison.
